Description:
CHE56
is a low hydrogen potassium type welding rod. The deposited metal shows a satisfactory plasticity, impact toughness and crack resistance. It is widely for fabricating structures made of 550MPa tensile strength mild steels and low alloy steels, such as ships, boilers, high press vessels, bridges, sky-scrapers, and so on. The groove of base metal should be cleared impurities away and the rod must be baked at a temperature to 350℃ then be held 1-2 hours before welding.
